Wellstone murdered?

I got to thinking while plugging my bloody nose with tissue this AM. Consider how important it is to the "Shadow" government that the GOP regains control of the Senate. Add to that Sen. Wellstone's vocal opposition to the Bush Admin, and you make for a guy many would rather see dead.

Now, there is no evidence that suggests this. It's purely foundationless conjecture. But there's just something about small planes carrying "Shadow" adversaries crashing in the middle of nowhere for no apparent reason (with no blackbox or cvr) that raises a red flag on my CIA-o-meter.

Prior to his demise, Democrats held control by only a single seat. Considering he voted against Bush's various uses for the Social Security Trust Fund (Bush Tax Cut Package, catering mostly to the wealthy), as well as against Republican measures regarding drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, and more importantly spoke adamantly regarding the impropriety of military (aggressive) engagement with Iraq, I'm not surprised.

If you'll forgive the vulgarity, to quote Will Smith, from Men in Black, "This has GOT to be a nine-point-oh on my weird-shit-o-meter." Which just so happens to be my mantra regarding our current, Presidential Administration.

So, let me first start out by saying that to think that there is any conspiracy behind the felling of Wellstone's plane is, IMO, ludicrous.
I won't go any further than that on that.
But I do want to say this, that, America and the world lost a truly sincere, honest (as compared to the carpetbaggers that the congress is full of), un-afraid, lincoln-esque, politician. God rest his soul.

The thought that Wellstone may have been murdered crossed the minds of every even slightly progressive person I've spoken to...most people had that thought immediately.

The question is: what can we do to promote an investigation, or in some way dramatize the need for one to the media? I sent Michael Moore an email asking him to do something, he has a great imagination. Any suggestions?
