Audrey Isabel "Izzy" Isaacs was born this morn circa 11:31 AM. She only kept her mother in labor for ~8 hours, only 3.5 of that in the hospital. Izzy weighed 6lbs and 10oz, and was/is 19" tall. She has a lot of long, dark, curly hair, is eating wonderfully, and sleeping most of her life away.
All parties are doing wonderfully, and the entire family should back home Thursday morning.
In related news, I'm going to look into getting my supply of sperm cut off, probably in a month or two. I'll be sure to document that process, as its something a lot of my peers will be looking into in their futures. :)

So I was Googling (dunno why I wasn't Yahoo!ing) and came across one of my photos on a website I'd never visited, let alone submitted a photo to. Now, I'm not terribly upset, as it's not a for profit thing, just as an example of the species. So I'll just ping the admin, and make sure the attribution is proper.
I really ought to do something to keep track of how often some of these images are being accessed. With thousands of pictures of everything from my family to my houses, to my speakers to my pets. The last time I even looked at the logs was years ago, and I found some adult website that linked toa picture of a steak on Steak and BJ day. Regrettably, I have photos of BJs.
I should probably figure out how to put a watermark on the images with ImageMagic. That should eat up a lot of whichever server my website is living on nowadays' processor for a day or two.
I bought some new shoes. I had previously two pairs of "dress" shoes (along with a nice pair of Sperry Topsider's that I never wear). A nice pair of Brown shoes that I paid $60 or so for. And a pair of Black shoes that I got from Payless for, I dunno...$30. Well guess what? You do indeded get what you pay for. :)
The Black shoes basically fell apart. So I bought some new ones. A pair of Born Blast's. Got them off the clearence rack at DSW for $52, pretty close to half price.
I must say, I quite liked DSW. I visited half a dozen other places; Dillards, Hects, JC Penny's, Kohls, Rack Room, and Sears. And no place had the selection that DSW had. And nobody was even close to having the deals they did. I could make a habit of spedning money there.
