Stupid Car Dealer

I wasn't kosher with this deal to begin with. Dumbasses.

I wanted a trim level (LTZ) for the Trailblazer that costs as much as a base Tahoe. Because it costs about as much as a Tahoe, dealers don't usually have it in stock. It's not a huge seller compared to the LT. So they have dozens of Trailblazer LTs, but virtually no LTZs. Now, when you want a car that they don't have, they find a dealer that does have it, and work out an inventory trade. This is what needed to be done for me.

So on Sat. they find one about 300 miles away. They say I can buy it, and they can get it. So we do all the paperwork, sign the loan, transfer titles, the whole deal. I didn't give them my truck yet, but I basically signed it over to them.

Only, it turns out this vehicle was a demo, and can't be sold as new. So I have a 30K loan on a vehicle I can't buy. Obviously they did not meet their end of the deal, so the contract is null if I want it to be. But they found another one, with a few different options, still all the shit I really wanted. So I say OK, and verbally accept the new one. It will be here Tuesday. So we'll go in, sign whatever we need to nullify the previous arrangement, and redo all the paperwork for the new one, which costs $200 less.

Only this time, I'm not signing anything until I have a set of keys in my possesion.

I lose the 6-disk changer and Rain-Sense wipers. As well as the 4.10 rear axel gear ratio. I gain running boards and more fuel efficeint 3.73 gear. Still have the sunroof. And heated seats. Which I'll need when I go home to Ohio next month. It's good to go home. Reminds you again why you left.

Man, and we just had the "well let's go look" discussion after the engine light came on the Explorer tonight (for the third time this year I might add). Oh how I look forward to all this...not. Sigh. Why can't we all still ride Big Wheels?

Due to your considerable contributions towards the "freely available titty pics" movement, I'll refrain from pointing out how pathetic your Sooners are.

Did you check your owners manual? Our Grand Am has a thing where the light comes on if you don't put the gas cap on correctly. We discovered that part of the manual after my wife took it in to the dealer and we paid $45 for them to diagnose the issue.

i'm crying on the inside for you, dan. i don't know why we have to wait to put you up against the wall and shoot you.

and knock off this shit that you need heated seats in Ohio. I get around just fine in my fuel efficient chevy corolla. i mean you used to deal with this every winter...when did you become such a pussy?

Spoken like a plebe that's never had heated leather seats in sub-freezing temps. I'm sorry my ass doesn't have enough blubber to protect me from the chill. :P

Danm it Dan, I dont have heated seats. Who need them. Dress properly for the weather and you could save money.
