Three Beans and Sausage


1-1/2 pounds smoked sausage, cut into 1" pieces
1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (15-1/2 ounces) great northern beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup water
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
2/3 cup chopped celery
1 tsp chicken bouillon granules
1 tsp minced garlic
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp dried oregano, optional
1/4 tsp dried thyme, optional
Hot cooked rice

In a 5-quart slow cookier, combine the first 12 ingredients.
Sprinkle with oregano and thyme if desired.
Cover and cook on low for 4 to 4-1/2 hours or until heated through.
Discard bay leaf.
Serve with rice.
